Since I was twelve, I’ve been keen on theatre. I saw my first play and I wanted to be an actor. But in the late 80s, there was very little amateur Indian theatre.

একটি বসবার ঘর। বসার ঘরে একটি মহিলার পুরোনো বাঁধানো ছবি। মালা ঝুলছে।ইনি কমলের মৃতা স্ত্রী। কিছু পুরোনো কিছু নতুন আসবাব আছে ঘরে। একটি অচল টেলিভিশন আছে। এখন বেশ ভোর বেলা। কেউ নেই। বেল বাজে। ভিতর থেকে চোখ রগড়াতে রগড়াতে গার্গী আসে। পরনে রাতের পোশাক। দরজা খোলার আগেই ঘরে আসে কিটি। সঙ্গে একটা স্যুটকেস।
